Quidnet is a small settlement at the eastern end of Nantucket Island, with views of Sesachacha Pond, Sankaty lighthouse, and the Atlantic Ocean. Quidnet offers two kinds of beaches: usually gentle surf and pond. Residents combine windsurfing and small boat sailing on Sesachacha Pond, with swimming in the Atlantic. It is rare to find such a small scale community on beachfront land in the United States.
