"Miamoor"

Miamoor sits on one of the high points of the island near Siasconset for commanding views of the surrounding moors, ocean and Sankaty Head Lighthouse, from the second story, and even more panoramic views on the Widows Walk. From there you can see the ocean near Siasconset and around the entire eastern curve of the island. Tom Nevers beach is only about a few miles away -an easy walk or bike ride. Far enough away from the crowds in Nantucket Town for amazing peace and quiet, and yet an easy bike ride will get you there when you want to go shopping. An even shorter bike ride takes you into beautiful, historic Siasconset, the second largest town on the island. Go surf casting for Bluefish at the near shore, or just have a picnic or fly kites in the steady ocean breezes. Miamoor is part of the Tom Nevers East community, with paved but quiet private roads, limited access points, a great variety of well-maintained and lovely homes, and tennis courts for the exclusive use of residents and their guests.
