Bring nothing but your toothbrush to this fully furnished Beach Condo. Only a stone's throw from the Ocean, with no streets to cross, and the balmy sea breezes never stops.
Go to sleep to the lull of the ocean, and wake to the rising sun over the water. Enjoy over 50 miles of uncrowded, white-sandy beaches.
The front door of this Condo opens onto a large, fresh-water swimming pool for a refreshing dip anytime of day. And Atlantic Beach offers a variety of shopping areas along Hwy. A1A, which winds its way down the beaches, from Amelia Island to the north and St. Augustine to the south.
The attractions, restaurants and boutiques that fill these coastal areas provide an enjoyable recess from the surf and sand.When you are done enjoying all that Atlantic Beach has to offer, come back to the Condo.
The Condo is semi-secluded in a corner, ground floor unit, with no stairs to climb. It has 3 entrances, including a private, fenced-in Outdoor Patio with BBQ for entertaining.
It offers a fully-equipped and tastefully decorated interior, with white tile floors and ceiling fan. A separate Dining area with tables and chairs add to an all-electric kitchen. Seagrass furniture and light, airy decor throughout complete this Floridian look.
And Atlantic Beach is a wonderful location for day trips. Visit the historic fishing village of Mayport, where you can hop aboard the Mayport Ferry for a scenic trip to Fort George, or head out to sea on a casino boat cruise. The nearby Mayport Naval Station offers visitors a tour of destroyers and frigates.
Further south, Jacksonville Beach, always attracts plenty of beachcombers, and in Ponte Vedra Beach, active vacationers can enjoy world-famous fairways and championship tennis courts.
In St. Augustine, 300-year-old stone forts and opulent turn-of -the-century hotels provide visitors with plenty to explore before they reach the beach. On the way to the surf, take a slight sidestep to the distinctive candy-striped St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum. Purported to be the site of Florida's first lighthouse, the view from the top is worth the climb.
