What makes Ormond-By-The-Sea so popular among vacationer's is
that it offers a NO-DRIVE beach and that makes it so much
more enjoyable,peaceful and most importantly safer,especially if you
have children.There are no crowds on this very clean and pristine
beach.
All of the furniture and decor are elegant and nicely upscaled.The
bedding,couches and the window treatments are all custom made and
with beautiful fabrics in designer patterns and designs.
Not what you would normally see in a rental property,or even most
hotels.



-Located in the beautiful Van Lee building with assigned underground
parking with additional parking in the front of the building.
Completely Wheelchair Accessible and the VanLee offers elevator
service.The stair wells,common areas,the grounds and all walk-ways
are very well lit and maintained.



-There are ocean views from the master bedroom,dining room,living
room and kitchen.Intracoastal views from the second bedroom.
This unit offers 2 large bedrooms, 1 is a master suite with 2 full
baths with central air and heat.



-The building is key/code entry only.The security that this offers
makes it private for residents and guests,and best of all safe.There
are never any non-resident/non-guest foot traffic thru the
property.So if you are looking for a vacation thats quiet and
private, this property offers just that.



-We get many questions concerning the difference between
oceanfront,beachfront,waterfront & oceanview.
In Ormond-By-The-Sea the difference is OCEANFRONT,WATERFRONT &
BEACHFRONT are directly on the beach IN ORMOND BEACH.What is
separating the condo and the building from the ocean is the beach.
An OCEANVIEW property is separated from the ocean by a street[s].A
street is a part of your views.An Oceanview property is
NOT ON THE BEACH.
Rates are generally lower for OCEANVIEW properties versus an
OCEANFRONT,BEACHFRONT or a WATERFRONT Property.
How this applies to Ormond Beach and Ormond By The Sea is any
property that is West of A1A is OCEANVIEW,any property EAST of A1A
is OCEANFRONT, WATERFRONT, & BEACHFRONT.
This applies to Ormond Beach AND Ormond-By-The-Sea.
We have seen properties offered as oceanfront,when in fact,they
are not on the beach and ocean and are truly oceanview.As much as an
oceanview property is advertised as oceanfront,please know there are
differences, especially if you are not familiar with the area and/or
you are looking for a specific type of vacation rental...There are
many more oceanview properties than oceanfront in Ormond-By-The-Sea
due to the limited amount of beachfront property available.We know
the differences as we own both types of properties.
If OCEANFRONT is what you are looking for,ask questions and know
what you are paying for so you won't be disappointed upon your
arrival for your long awaited vacation.

When I receive emails for a request of OCEANFRONT,I understand what
you are looking for.Your time is too important to have to figure out
the terminology that is sometimes used to advertise a property.
If you are looking to buy,there is a HUGE difference in the cost
between an OCEANFRONT [EAST OF A1A] and an OCEANVIEW property
[WEST OF A1A]which is obvious that there is a difference regarding
what is oceanfront and oceanview.

-Please note: Our condominium AND the building,The VanLee,are
equipped with sprinkler, alarm systems and smoke detectors that meet
all safety and fire code requirements of Volusia County.






Vacation Rental Amenities
-Master Suite-The romantic master suite has a king-size bed with a
remote controlled pillow top mattress,25" TV with Cable and
remote,DVD,large windows to view the ocean,[even from the bed] and
direct access to the balcony via glass sliding doors.
The bedspread and pillows are all custom made.Also offered are fine
linens and towels.
The Master Suite is furnished with a full size dresser,an armoire
and two [2] nightstands.
Beautifully decorated full bath with a separate lighted vanity,with
all-custom cabinetry, and an extra large walk-in California Closet.
A hair dryer and extra fine linens are provided.
Master Suite has a digital clock/radio,CD player and cordless
telephone/answering machine.
The master bath is in the master suite adjacent to the walk-in
closet and the vanity area.

-Second Bedroom- Is beautifully decorated in light colors and has a
queen size bed,new 13" TV/VCR with remote and Cable, also an extra
large walk-in California Closet.A dresser and 2 nightstands
compliment the decor in this bedroom.
Extra fine linens are provided as well.
This bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom,that is also beautifully
decorated,with that features a large walk-in shower.


-Kitchen -Completely equipped.All upscale appliances-
microwave,self cleaning oven,smooth-top range,convection
oven,dishwasher,disposal and refrigerator/freezer with water and
icemaker dispenser which are new.
The kitchen also has a toaster,coffeemaker,blender,pots/pans,
dinnerware and all glassware.
Custom countertops and tiled floor are the finishing
touches of this complete and beautiful kitchen.

-Dining room -Seats 4 with 3 additional bar stools to view the
spectacular blue ocean while dining.

-Living room -Is tastefully decorated with a sofa,over-sized chair
w/ottoman and accent tables.
Spectacular entertainment center with a 32" TV with remote and
Cable,also a new DVD system.
There are sliding glass doors that access the tiled and furnished
balcony with a panoramic view of the ocean,beach and the pool.


-Relax in the beautiful oceanfront pool while taking in the
magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The private walk-way,from the pool,
takes you onto the semi-private/no-drive beach.
There is also an "after-swim" shower,for your use,after
a day on the beach.


-There is a tremendous amount of storage space in the condominium
for those who rent for extended periods of time.


-Unit is superbly furnished and is immaculate.The recessed
lighting,in the kitchen and dining area,are the finishing touches
of the decor.
Iron,ironing board,fine linens and towels are provided.


-We have provided every necessity with all of
the luxury.....



-Sit in comfort on the tiled balcony enjoying the view from one of
the 2 tall patio sets.The balcony seats 4 comfortably.The only thing
separating you from the ocean is the beach and the pool.A great
place to watch the sun rise over the ocean.You may be able to see a
Space Shuttle Launch or even dolphins swimming nearby.

-We also provide two [2] beach chairs,one [1] large beach blanket
and a full supply of beach towels as our guest.


-Private brand new FULL SIZE washer and dryer is located just
outside the front door in our private separate locked storage
room,For YOUR USE ONLY,that also provides additional storage for
your golf clubs,fishing gear,bicycles and beach items.


-For rainy day entertainment we have provided Uno,Checkers and
playing cards.There are many video rental stores nearby
if you are in the mood to stay in,relax and watch a good movie.




-2 Phones [with an answering system] is provided with unlimited
local service.For long distance
you must use a calling card or cell phone.


-For our guests,just before the arrival date,we send visitor
information about the area such as:
Dining,Entertainment,Attractions,Recreation,Transportation,Maps,
Weather,Business Directory and Specialty Shopping,Festivals and
Events.
As a courtesy,as our guest,we will provide you with driving
directions from your home,an airport,or any other starting point
and back.





-The VanLee offers an excercise room and sauna.
The grounds are superbly maintained and beautifully landscaped.
The building itself is very secure and best of all,private.

Activities and Attractions
-There are endless recreational possibilities in Ormond-By-The-Sea
and neighboring areas.

-Enjoy miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches with the safety of
it being a no-drive beach.Much less worrisome if you have children.
This semi-private beach is not crowded and is famously known
as "The Birth Place Of Speed".
It is exceptionally clean,peaceful and picture perfect.


-This is a perfect place, if you are athletically inclined,for
jogging,biking,running,sun bathing,surfing or just taking long
walks.Sometimes you will see many unique kites flying along the
beach as well.
You might be lucky to see a Shuttle Launch from nearby Kennedy
Space Center right from the balcony.The Kennedy Space Center also
makes a terrific day trip and a great learning experience for you
and your children.

-This is a golfers paradise.Nearby Daytona Beach is home of the LPGA.
There are many courses from which to choose from, one of which is
located just a few miles away.
Not included or on the property,but close-by:tennis courts,boat
rentals,gyms,parasailing,deep sea/sport fishing,wind surfing,
4 hour casino cruises from Ponce Inlet and Miniature Golf.There are
so many more activities than I have listed here.


-Nearby Daytona Beach has a large Flea Market and Shopping Malls if
that is something you are looking for.The new Millenia Mall in
Orlando is a must see for those that love to shop.
There are some terrific restaurants nearby that offer superb seafood
among many other types of cuisine.Nearby Hotels [at least 2-3 miles
away] have live entertainment.There is far more than mentioned here.


-Only 10 minutes away from Daytona Beach attractions and 60 minutes
from Orlando for those wishing to see the world famous Disney
World,Sea World,Universal Studios and Epcot,just to name a
few.Kennedy Space Center is also a great day trip.Adventure Land
Water Theme Park is a 10 minute drive.
Discovery Cove,a Brand New Attraction near Orlando is 1 hour away
and a great place to take the kids to swim with the dolphins.



-A great vacation destination for honeymooners, seniors,couples and
even a terrific family get away.
There is a boardwalk and the Daytona Pier a few miles away,that has
carnival rides,bumper cars and games for the kids,directly on the
ocean.If there are specific activities you are looking to do or
see,we would be more than happy to provide that information.
