These are just some of the comments we have received from guests who have stayed at Robin's Nest, our private hotel room in the Shelborne Hotel (Collins and 18th St) in South Beach, Miami Beach. Our room directly faces east to the ocean and pool - wake up early enough and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean.!

Robin's Nest has a window that is 12 feet wide, so you have an expansive view of the pool, palm trees, beach and ocean. It is truly beautiful! The room has 2 full sized beds, a kitchenette, small round dining table and 2 chairs, a large leather club chair w/ottoman and a huge dresser, along with Art deco style furnishings. It is stocked with linens, towels and utensils/appliances. We have a wall mounted color TV with remote and a brand new CD/cassette stereo system, also with remote. There is a phone for local outgoing and incoming calls. Wireless internet is available in the lobby. There is an indoor-outdoor hotel restaurant and two bars (one indoor, one outdoor), as well as a popular Karaoke bar in the basement.

Contrary to the bed specifications on this website, we have FULL SIZED beds only. We can accomodate 2 couples, or a couple and a single, or a couple and 2 children. We would consider 4 adults for a short stay only. There is no smoking allowed in the room.

Our rates (3 night minimum please) are 20-60% lower than any published rates you'll find at the Shelborne's official website. In-season room rates are $120/ night weekdays and $125 - $150 weekends. (plus 10% sales tax). To enable us to offer this, however, we cannot offer daily maid service, room service, or front desk services (i.e. charging food and drink bills to your room). For an oceanview room, it's a steal! Compare our prices to the Shelborne's website. Dates will only be reserved after the deposit has been received.

The Shelborne is the home of the brand new just-opened SHINE nightclub (as featured on local TV news). It is 2 doors down from the Shore Club and the new Setai, across the street from the Raleigh, one block from the Delano, two blocks from the Convention Center and Jackie Gleason Perf. Arts Center etc. A brand new nightclub opened in our hotel in November and it's drawing large crowds. MTV is also using the Shelborne as their base to film a new model reality series.

We are booked for Art Basel, Christmas week and New Year's Eve.

Please be advised that there is NO free parking at the Shelborne or in South Beach.
